Cyndy's Sweet Treats in Special Event

Cyndy's Sweet Treats will be participating in the Ninth annual fundraiser "ALL THINGS CHOCOLATE" on February 21st, 2009 in Itasca, IL to raise funds for the Open Door Clinic.  The evening begins at 7:00pm.  The area's finest chocolatiers will showcase their creations and seduce your palate. A silent auction tugs at others competitive natures. Bidding on donated treasures: fine art, dining at upscale area restaurants, theatre and sporting event tickets, the latest in electronics, themed baskets and more, usually results in a steal for the highest bidder. Thus, good-natured bidding wars are common. Events for the evening include: Silent Auction, Live Auction, 50/50 raffle, door prizes. Keene Earns Certificate

Cyndy Keene of Cyndy's Sweet Treats was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation by the Bravo Company, 2^nd Battalion, 5^th Cavalry Vietnam Veterans for donating candy bars to their 2008 reunion.  The coordinators expected small bite sized candy bars and were given the business card sized "Thank You" bars filled with Strawberry Cream or caramel in milk, dark and white chocolate.  Each bar had a customized label which included Bravo Company's logo and sayings.  It was an honor to make the bars for the Vets and it was completely unexpected to be honored by them.
